It has started!

What a historical day!

Today we had a great launch for our network´s first ever online studies! Roughly 30 students and 10 faculty members from six different countries and seven educational organizations gathered in Teams to get to know each other and hear about the content of what's to come in our workshops during this spring.

After introducing ourselves we had a couple of quizzes about the countries we were from learning interesting facts and details around the world. Students were divided into five smaller studygroups and were asked to name theirselves. Further on we have the 7 Seas of Nursing, TIN (Together in Nursing), NEO, Lakritsi Dumpling Pie and Slavcek working and studying different aspects of Nursing ethics.

Ethical decision making and "what if"?

The study groups were also presented various different situations that required ethical decision making, such as "What would you do if you found money on the floor. What if the money was in a wallet?", "What if you saw a pregnant woman smoking. What if they were smoking whilst holding a small child?" and "You are working in emergency care and a male prisoner is bought in by guards for treatment for a head wound. What if it was a female prisoner being bought in by a guard and she is due to give birth?

The studygroups will now continue their work with special tasks before the workshop 1. We can hardly wait for March!
