Great discussions about values

Greetings from workshop 1

As a third year nursing student I have found it extremely interesting and rewarding to join European colleagues to gain a unique insight into nursing ethics, values and good practice across different nations.

Within my specific group Seven Seas of Nursing we have had some great discussions about what our values are and found lots of common ground within the group. We share a good sense of humour and have exchanged stories about our countries. I have learnt a lot culturally about my colleagues in Croatia and Finland and look forward to finding out more as the sessions go on.

I would like to thank Kirsi Myllykangas for providing support and for organising and facilitating our seminars. I would also like to thank UEA's Paul Linsley for inviting me to get involved with the International Nursing Ethics workshops and for his ongoing support.

Kind regards,

Penny Gee
3rd Year Learning Disabilities Student at UEA (The University of East Anglia).
